Unappreciated Games that Deserve some Credit and Recognition There is one catch however: one game per franchise. It will be updated regularly since our taste in games will change over the years. This is a special list where I list down all my favourite video games of all time- in order.

These are the things that would happen when a game has tough enemies, ridiculous boss fights, no che. For some reason the Collection tab was not working so I made this a custom list.
GOD HAND GAME CASE PS2
PS: This is in response to several shoddy reviews (in terms of quality of review, NOT dispute with score given or opinions expressed for example a lot of pertinent information was simply LEFT OUT of the Madden PS2 review, and I've seen some people express similar opinions regarding the Kingdom Hearts II review), and a general decline in the quality of work coming specifically out of I love that are less than popular and/or unforgettably weirdĪ list of all the games I own. Please always keep that in mind as you continue your work. We are your base, and if you shake our trust, then you have no job. I'm not saying it's easy, and I'm not saying that it isn't a valid career, but covering video games for a living is not like being a scientist, or having to make decisions that have long range effects upon a broad group of people. Sigh, look, IGN staff, not to belittle you or your efforts or profesionalism, BUT, you have a dream job. It would just make more sense to have some consistency between the person providing the previews and reviews of a certain game. The descrepencies mentioned above between the preview and review (regarding music, voice acting, etc) are alarming. That being said, if they felt the game was worthy of a 3/10, then so be it but if, however, a 3/10 was given to continue an office joke regarding the game, or if the proper due diligence was not executed, then shame on IGN. I understand the concept of something being either take it or leave it, love it or hate it (and gamerankings justifies this with several 3s and more than a few 8s) but as a consumer who speaks no Japanese, has no access to developers, and has only the domestic publications to go on I would hope that the editors at always remember that their job, first and foremost, is to look out for us as "the buying public". I know being pigeonholed into giving something a score is frustrating, and I know that an intelligent consumer will perform due diligence rather than just check a number value and grab a game, but the fact remains that part of an IGN Editor's job is to provide the masses with easily accesible scores. Mark's refusal to score the game is further evidence of the juvenille work ethic that runs amuck in the staff. They gave it a playthrough, it became and office joke, they gave it a 3/10. And while more scrutiny never reveals a truly uptown interior, God Hand is still worth playing-at least for a chuckle, and at most for a satisfying brawl.Īfter reading this thread I am of the mind that this is just another example of IGN giving a shoddy effort when it comes to informing their subscribers and readers of pertinent information. God Hand isn't the sort of game that everyone will appreciate because its best qualities are masked by a low-rent front.

But toy with the mechanics a bit and God Hand's depth surfaces the combo system is flexible and rewarding, and the simple evasions allow for advanced cancels and combat techniques. Under the rough exterior is a brawler with deep combat that, much like the qualities of the voice acting (which is brilliant, in a Snakes on a Plane sort of way), isn't instantly appreciable. It's too bad to be real, right? And it's from Clover Studios?īut the obviously bad covers up a game that's actually not awful. The dialog hardly makes sense and, combined with the unquestionably strange scenarios of the game, elicits roars of mocking chuckles. There's no hiding the abysmal voice acting, and no missing the oddly disappearing walls that seem to blink out of existence when the camera swings too near. Mention God Hand anywhere in the office west of my humble corner and in return faces scrunch up tight and moan. In my years of working here at IGN, no other game has earned the universal disdain God Hand generated among our editorial staff. Click to expand.Um, did you see this?
